About EAA Chapter 636

EAA Chapter 636 was started in 1977 by Gene Sharp and Mike Lutz with an original membership of 42. This non-profit organization is dedicated to the advancement of aviation education, homebuilt aircraft, and private aviation.

The membership of EAA Chapter 636 includes individuals from all walks of life. The common bond and the only membership prerequisite is a serious interest in aviation. We welcome builders and non-builders, pilots, as well as folks who've never flown before.
